About Invisible Invoice

Invisible Invoice turns unpaid household labour into something visible, measurable and discussable. It exists for the people who notice what needs doing, remember the appointment, plan dinner before anyone is hungry and then wonder where the week went.

It is not a legal invoice, a relationship assessment or a reason to shame anyone. It is a clear, conservative estimate using the Australian National Minimum Wage — a starting point for recognition, conversation and, where possible, change.

The calculator asks for no names and keeps the focus on the work: cooking, cleaning, caring, planning, organising and the mental load that makes a household run.
